Saturday, December 11 (thats the second weekend of this block) the Leviathan will host its bi-annual live event. Art will be exhibited, poetry and fiction prose will be read, and later in the evening, a couple live bands will play. All this will occur in our bizarre fishbowl building from about 5:00pm-1am (break at 8 for dinner and pre-gaming of course.)
We're looking for your art to exhibit at the event (to date, we've destroyed nothing at these events because we exhibit art high up on the wall to avoid drunken destruction.) We're also looking for readers for the poetry/fiction reading (the reading will begin the night at about 6pm.)
Anybody who is interested is invited to read or exhibit... AND EVERYBODY should come! This event is a lot of fun. There will be snacks. and wine (perhaps) (under the table) (shh!!) Please email me at blockpartiepoetry@gmail.com or leviathan.magazine@gmail.com if you are interested in participating.

Also: the new issue of the Leviathan is coming out second week as well! It features almost entirely new poets AND INCLUDES a CD of music submissions.
hem hem hem We at the Leviathan listened to the CD about 15 F****** TIMES during production weekend and its pretty good. I hope you know how to interpretive dance...because that's what we did for the entire production weekend instead of spell your names correctly. (just kidding. hopefully.)
